Be Healthy School Grant Program

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama will make available $250,000 and award grants up to $10,000 to schools across the state that enroll students in grades K through eight. The grants are for the implementation of school-based health and wellness programs that emphasize increased physical activity and nutritional education during the school year. Grant requests are generally accepted between January and April. This grant is limited to 1 per selected school each year.
